Throat Cancer ek gambhir rog hai jo gale ke hisson jaise pharynx (gale ka pichla hissa), larynx (voice box) ya tonsils me develop hota hai. Iske mukhya risk factors me smoking, tobacco chewing, alcohol ka adhik sevan, HPV (Human Papillomavirus) infection, aur polluted environment shamil hain. Shuruaati lakshan me gala dard jo theek na ho, awaaz me bhari pan ya badlav, nigalne me takleef, neck me sujan ya lump, lagataar khansi, ya unexplained weight loss shamil ho sakte hain. Kai baar log in symptoms ko normal infection samajh kar ignore kar dete hain, lekin agar yeh 2–3 hafte se zyada bane rahein to turant specialist se jaanch karani chahiye. Diagnosis ke liye physical examination, endoscopy, biopsy, aur CT/MRI scan jaise advanced tests kiye jaate hain. Treatment patient ki stage aur condition par depend karta hai, jisme surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy ya targeted therapy shamil ho sakti hai. Early stage me pakda gaya throat cancer zyada asaani se treat ho sakta hai aur patient ki awaaz aur swallowing function ko bachaya ja sakta hai. Samay par diagnosis aur sahi treatment se survival rate aur quality of life dono me mahatvapurn sudhar hota hai.
